No, it would be redundant with the "Discuss this Story" link.

Yes and no. Like the other person said, we do get to discuss and comment on the story only it is linked from The News forum. It's not really a great idea to put it on the same page as the news though. We have enough people trying to get First Post's and such as it is. It is really best IMO to sequester the comments to their own page like it is.

I like to Rollick

No I think that's stupid, having a separate forum is the best way.

I like how ESPN has it where it's hidden and if you want you can click on it to see the comments, but that is essentially what Bungie has. Those weekly updates easily get 100+ comments and having them right on the page would be messy.

Yep, been like that as long as I've been around here. I don't particularly care for Gamespots comments for news articles, anyway. The majority of comments are MS and Sony fanboys flaming each other or some idiot spouting nonsense because he somehow managed to misread the article.

Yes, I do.

Commenting on articles is next-gen. I don't like IGN for the lack of commenting. I really do like TeamXbox's comment set up above all others.

You can comment them in the news forum. Which is designed for that.
