No. The system would, in all likelihood, be constantly abused.

EDIT: If that wasn't such a big possibility, it could be a good idea.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

It's much more efficient (and less drama-inducing) if you guys just email or PM us with links to bad posts/threads.

No thanks... we don't need lynch mobs here. The current system is as effective without being nearly so disruptive as a public airing of accusations (true and false, honest and malicious) in the forums.

-- Steve can't even see banning those making false accusations helping salvage the idea. Sorry, it's just too vulnerable to "griefing".

Oh Jebus Steve, now you tell me?!?! What the hell am I gonna do with all these torches and pitchforks???

I would just like to add, that if you really feel that a "normie" has done something that deserves them getting blacklisted, take a screenshot of the post/PM and send it to a mod. If you don't get an answer, or you don't feel like they handled/took it serious, send it to a Master Ninja. IF you don't get an answer there or don't feel that they handled/took it serious, send it to Achronos. There is a set chain of command that is pretty easy to follow.

No, this would have a worse effect on bungie.net then Recon's "open all links" button.

The dark ages would begin.

Lynching is too civil Anton, I was thinking tar and feathering would be a more suitable punishment, and other pastly traditions such as the schandstoel, draaikooi, schopstoel, and the kaak.

Yes, I'm gunna hav to agree with Ghandi here. The currnt system works well enough. The only problem is abuse through the PM system, there's a lot of potential there for someone to fake up an abuseive message sent by someone. Would a screenshot of the offending message be adequte proof of PM abuse?

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Milkie, come on now. Are you joking with these various horrible ideas? A few times now, you have come up with a terrible terrible idea, posted it, and then not responded to defend it. For example, the "should moderators be done away with on b.net" thread.

I'm starting to think that you're not serious. If you're just trying to spark discussion, then you should say so.
