once this random hot girl walked up to me and asked me to put my hands on her boobs. that was a cool day.

O_O you looked at your friends balls when "he" sat on your head O_o

So, i just went to the thread that showed me how to download Marathon, Marathon 2 etc...And i love all 3 of those games. So i was thinking a cool forum to be added to the already copious list of the new bungie.net forums, could be an "Old school Bungie" forum. Where people can discuss old games, ideas for old games. and all that stuff. Maybe even organize a few Marathon humpdays or things like that. Please give me feedback on what you think of the idea and please don't flame me.

Thanks much!

All of this is already covered in The Underground.

yes, I realize that, but it could be more organized and fun if it had a forum of it's own. Think of it, Marathon, Marathon 2 Durandal, and Marathon Infinity Humpday challenges. How cool would that be.

ok bear with me now, The Marathon Trilogy is a pretty good game, but nobody's on anymore, it would be like having a GNOP Humpday, you'd have noone to play with.

true. but don't you think that making something serious revolving around it would kinda revitalize it and people would start getting on for humpdays and stuff like that? Kinda like a defribulator.

The whole point of the forum he is talking about is for all of Bungie's old school games. Let The Underground be used tor direct Bungie conversation and speculation, and let there be a new forum for all of Bugnie's older games.

Should a Marathon Trilogy forum be put in place, I for one would post in there regularly, for what it's worth.

The only other way I see people wanting to get back on Marathon for humpdays would be if Bungie would re-release Marathon for Xbox Live Arcade.

Actually, quite a few people play Marathon still.

The Underground is the perfect place for what you're proposing. Adding another forum would just spread out all the topics and make it harder to moderate. If someone wanted to make a Marathon or Myth humpday challenge, they would have done it already, or they will do it with or without a new forum.

Add that to the fact that the Underground isn't active enough to warrent splitting it in two. You'd have two inactive forums (and then people would come to the Septagon and rally to take them off the site, like people always seem to do).

that's true. And is there any way for a regular member like me to petitio ok last time i mentioned that i got blacklisted, but suggest to bungie to do a Marathon Humpday challenge? And if so how would I go about doing that?

Make a marathon group. Where marathon players can gather and have discussion and what not.

If it wasn't for the old games, the Underground would be dead with a bunch of locked Halo threads. Just let the underground be the old school forum.

Maybe make a thread in the Underground about setting up a Marathon Humpday (or challenge where members of b.net can play on a pseudo-semi-regular basis). Even if it doesnt get Bungie to play in it, at least you'll be raising awareness. If enough people sign up for it and Bungie see's that the interest is out there, maybe they'll participate.

Its worth a try.

Your best bet is to post the suggestion in the Underground and see if a lot of people latch onto it. But most of the Humpdays recently have involved Halo 3 and I don't think that's liable to change anytime soon.
