What's so hard about typing in codes?

To some, yes; to all, no.

Bungie listens to its fans! ^.^ | Ninja .II./ You
RCG: In ur base, steelin' ur flagz. | Watch the demo, then join the carnage!

Well, for bullet points you can always just type them out:

• Like this.
» Or this, maybe.

And so on and so forth.

To clear up any remaining confusion, markup tags that work here on Bungie are:
• italics ;
• underline ;
• bold ;
• url ( http://www.bungie.net );
• named url and
•
quote
.

I really don't think we need little buttons.

He opened up a text editor, typed whatever he wanted in that, and then copy and pasted it into the body of his post.

As for text markup buttons, I think they are a hassle, but I can see why other people like them. Plus, it could cut down on some of the "how did you bold your text?" comments in the middle of posts, not that that's a huge problem anyway, but whatever.

Nah, typing in code is pretty easy imo
True this may be harder for new members, but there's stickies pointing this out.

How hard would it be to add icons on the bottom like every other forum in the world? Icons would eliminate just about all concerns for new members and make it a little faster for everyone else. What would it hurt?

If they introduced buttons, who is to say that they would look attractive with the New Hawtness 2.0 =O ?

I like the two I posted, '•' and '»'.

Youo can type them directly using the 'alt' key; I'm on a Mac so for '•' I press alt+8 and for '»' it's alt+shift+\.
