From a money point of view, Halo 2, would created far more funds, on window xp? The new window, is just now selling well, pus their are a lot of bug> Ms, HAVE ALL READY HAVE a in house HALO 2, for XP. True, some of the window dressing, is not as strong, but it is just like Halo 1. The only people who consider Halo 2 just to be for Vista, probably do not have a life, and a movie will be made about then> THE FORTY YEARS OLD VIRGIN.

From a money point of view, Halo 2, would have created far more funds, on window xp. The new windows, is just now selling well, plus there are a lot of bug. Fixed, I think.

Dude, is English your first language ? Because if it is, go break all your fingers now.

Now to pick apart your post piece by wretched piece.

#1: From a money point of veiw, Microsoft made the smart decision when making Halo 2 Vista Vista Exclusive, due in no small part to the plain fact that people who buy operating systems (ie: not retarded 12 year olds) would probably buy the game on impulse once they see it sitting next to Vista (Among several other reasons I have no desire to repeat).

#2: Yes, the "new window is just now selling well." Who would have thought that a brand new operating system would be popular? And I'm pretty sure it's been stated a few times already that Vista has already had some updates that fix the major bugs. Although it seems you do not have first hand experience. If you are referring to the driver issues with Vista, well, it's not Microsofts job to make the drivers for third party software and peripherals.

#3: You already have a copy of Halo 2 for XP? Well please, by all means share your wonderful discovery with the rest of us. If what you say is true, then I will gladly send you $200 for my own copy. Because I think you're BSing. A copy of Halo 2 for XP would have taken a lot of work to code up. Not to mention the legal issues with doing such a thing.

#4: "People who consider Halo 2 just to be for Vista." No one considers that. Because anyone with an iota of brain matter would already know Halo 2 came out for Xbox years ago. Did you miss the memo?

#5: "probably do not have a life, and a movie will be made about them. THE FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGIN" That depends on your definition of what constitutes a "Life". If you think having a job and being able to afford Vista and Halo 2 Vista means we don't have lives, then yes, we do not have lives. Judging by your blatant -blam!- of the English language, you must also believe people who attend school also have no lives.

#6: "THE FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGIN" Has already been made. Where have you been the last two years? Zimbabwe?

Well, I figured since I'm taking the time to drop a Napalm bomb on the poor bastard I might as well try and translate what the hell he said. It was really more for my benefit, since I like to know what I'm replying to when I reduce him to his constituent elements.

The fact that you have to buy Vista to play the game is freaking awesome. That will keep a crapload of kids out of the game until A: Vista becomes less expensive or B: Them damn youngins get jobs and get some discipline along with the money they'll end up buying Vista with.

1.) Superlatives never express the reality of opinions. Saying that "everyone" will want to upgrade to Vista simply because it is a new OS is outright lunacy. I for one have heard stories of Vista not cooperating with this little app called "iTunes." Also, judging by your logic, "everyone" should have upgraded to ME when it came out. Needless to say, ME was not an improvement. It simply was newer. Vista has not been on the market very long. There is a chance that Microsoft repeated history and came out with another "ME;" that is, a newer OS not worth the upgrade. Give Vista a chance to settle.

2.) If what everyone is arguing is that "Halo 2 Vista" won't come out for XP, that certainly is a given. Halo 2 Vista was specificly designed for use with Vista, hence the third word in its name. However, I have thusfar not heard an intelligent argument as to why Microsoft shouldn't come out for a version of Halo 2 for XP. (-Might I suggest a subtle name, like "Halo 2 XP"-) If your argument is the monetary return Microsoft hopes to get from forcing PC Gamers to upgrade, there is a compromise. Sure Vista has additional features, however using such a shameless tactic might actually turn some gamers off from Microsoft, and any products/games they might come out with in the future for fear this might be a recurring theme with Microsoft. Halo 2 XP might not have the PC version of XBOX Live, but it would at least have online play. The incentive to upgrade should be the additional features the Vista version has, such as said "PC version of XBOX Live". If Halo 2 Vista doesn't have the extra neccessary features to justify an XP Version, and Microsoft really is making it a Vista exclusive solely for the purpose of trying to invade as many homes as possible with Vista, then my respect for them is in serious question.

3.) All you Vista supporters keep saying, "It won't come out on XP, so shut up!" "There's already been a million -blam-ing posts on this!" Granted, I did omit all the the spelling and gramatical errors. If you are so tired of hearing this, please click the little button in the top left of your browser that takes you "BACK" and out of this thread. Noone is making you read this, and you don't have to if you don't want to. Now, the reason so many posts have been posted, is because we have not gotten a legitamitly valid answer.

Can you give us one?

A well thought out one would be preferred.

Ya know, maybe they're not making Halo 2 for XP because they're not making Halo 2 for XP. Maybe it's just that simple. Point is, Microsoft doesn't have to give us a reason for it. Although they've already given us a multitude of good reasons. And all the people wanting Halo 2 XP are just too shortsighted to see that in a year or two, Vista will be the standard. Much like XP has been for a while now. Which brings me to my next comment. XP is a has been OS. It has been good to us, but it's almost time to put the ol' girl down.

They're not flaming you for your opinion, it's because that we've scene dozens of these threads asking for another OS, it gets annoying. I, unlike them, give noobs one chance to screw up before I ride up their ass. Consider yourself warned >:D
