Would you like a forum dedicated the the rich backstory for Halo - Novels, Graphic Novels, Action figure descriptions, Bungie commentary and interviews, I love bees (if and when applicable) ?

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I think all that could easily be incorporated into an existing forum.

No, because all of those already have a forum for them. Halo Novels, Graphic Novels, and Action Figures, belong in the Underground, since that is the common place for all of those discussions, and where they are most consistent. Then Bungie Commentary and Interviews can, and do, easily fit into the Septagon (Bungie Community Forum) since the Septagon (Bungie Community Forum) is all about the community. As for I love bees, that site is long dead, and has recently been posted a few times in both the Flood and in New Mombasa (Halo 2 Forum). Both forums are fit for such discussions. So, for this idea, I say no.

Wouldn't all of that fall under the guidelines for New Mombasa?

"I pledge to punch all switches, to never shoot where I could use grenades, to admit the existence of no level except Total Carnage, to never use caps lock as my "run" key, and to never, ever, leave a single BoB alive."

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

I don't think it would serve a purpose seeing as we have proper forums for such discussion.

No.

NM is not about anything other than Halo 2.
Underground is not for halo-related stuff, but for bungie and other games besides Halo
Septagon is not for speculating about the halo universe based off of what bungie employees say

I think if you had a theory that incorporated everything, then... Well, the only reason to have a theory is to make predictions, and the only thing to make predictions about is Halo 3. So it would go in the Halo 3 forum. :]

As for just discussing anything and everything Halo, in one thread... Well, I'd probably put it in the Halo 2 forum as that's the 'current' period of time we're at, in the Halo universe - you'd probably be talking about the backstory in relation to the present story, as it were.

Huh. I guess something like that doesn't fit neatly into a forum, but there are so few topics like that that an entire forum for them would be unwarranted...

Stick it in HBO. ;]

Bungie General I think.

Ah, look at the lonely people...

Meh. I think we should get a "Halo Discussion" forum and a "Halo Multiplayer" forum. Both for Halo 2 and Halo CE, naturally, and put those two in place of the Library and New Mombasa.

We can discuss all Halo story and whatnot in Halo Discussion and we can have the multiplayer angle of "Halo 2 Campaign and Multiplayer" in the other one.

While I'm not sure that a whole new forum is necessary, I do believe that something like that is necessary, because now, if you want to discuss something from, say, Ghosts of Onyx, your best bet is to go to the Halo 3 forum. This should be fixed. Maybe if you made the H3 forum incorporate discussion about ghosts of Onyx, the H2 forum about First Strike, and the H:CE forum about the first two books, then some of these issues would be resolved.
