Hi,
I often see people making the same thread over and over, or some threads are just plain stupid. I'd like a report button, much like VB, IPB, MyBB and most others have.
I realize that there is the option of reporting it to a moderator by PMing, but this can be a long processes due to you not knowing all the mods, or not knowing if they're on.

I think this will definitely help the Bungie community. Please consider it.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

One flaw i see with this is people hitting the report button anytime they feel like it. The mods then get flooded with reports and spend more time following up on them then patrolling the forums.

It would be mass spammed; if you look around usually you will see threads being locked, so you know which mod is on.

But, usually things like that are seen pretty quickly & get locked appropriately. I think things are ok without one.

Hmm... not always.. in some of the less-active forums like The Maw (halo 1 pc) there are usually some idiotic people that start topics without reading the stickies, and I would highly classify it as "flame-bait".

Flaming will never end. Of course, that doesn't justify it, but it does justify people focusing on something else. Like making good topics, rather than stopping the bad ones.

It would be mass-spammed. If we had to trust people with that power, well, I guess The Flood is a living example of giving an 'off-topic' forum to a wide community of (mostly) idiots

The moderators are efficient enough to handle any problems quickly enough there is no need for a report button. Also, if you think something is really bad you would take the time to check out kdshw's program and message some moderators about it.

No the mods are always checking the forums. Looking over the forums is what they do flooding there already flame full inboxes would be incredibly wrong.
