Mac's now have intel chips which allow you to run many OS's right on the Mac. Particularly OSX and Vista. This feature pretty much in my opinion makes apple computers a much better descision when it comes to getting a new computer. Now I can have Vista and OSX on one computer. The great things about both and throw them into one machine
1. MS fanboys should not complain, microsoft is still making their money as you have to purchase a full version of vista (400+ for Ultimate)
2. Gaming, sure mac's cant get TOP of the line video cards but it will still work, infact, im looking at a Macbook Pro (Laptop) it has 2gb of ram, 160gb 5200rpm Harddrive, ATI Radeon Mobility X1600 video card ect. WELL over the "Minimum" specs of Halo 2 vista and many other games for vista to come.
Not much else fanboys can really say, with the laptop posted above, it proves that Mac's are more so shaping to be a great choice in today's computer market.
wow, finally someone who actually took the time to USE a mac and come up with their oppinion :D.
Glad to see I'm not the only Mac guy here ;). Seems many people hate macs just because they love microsoft. They act like Apple sucks, but they don't even know anything about them :D.
I have used both PC and mac a lot. Based on my use of both operating systems, I can clearly state that Macs are better at just about everything except maybe gaming. PCs have more games, thats basically the only good thing. Macs don't even need the huge video cards because Mac OS X runs smoothly and doesn't require a $4,000 machine to run games properly.
