Uuuh yeah, about X.XX.713> ghost.713/non-auth/activity ongoing
I remember seeing somewhere a halo pic showing commands or a cmd prompt, and I think that ip's or addresses or whatever they have are in 3 sections, instead of 4 like ours. That > isnt more than/less than, its actually the cmd prompt symbol - like in windows its C:\Documents and Settings\"username"> *command*
If you look in the Halo Graphic Novel, at the back were there is some concept art, on pg. 122 you see examples of this.
Also, 'ghost' reminds me of the Sparten III's in Ghost's of Onyx (not just because of the name of the book). I don't think their tags were "Sparten-***" like johns was "Sparten-117" so maybe Ghost is a tag, being "Ghost-713"
That would explain the number, and maybe "x.xx.713" (which I believe to be an ip or something similiar) then maybe the first x covers up the Organisation number (like navy, marines etc.), the second XX covers up the division number (NavSpecWep etc.) and the final 713 is the personal tag.
Therefore, even if it isnt a sparten II or III it would still work, just being a different division.
