No its just annoying when there is a forum all about halo 3 and the beta. All you have to do is open it up and read it. It is mind boggling how because of maitenence on xbox live people come up with all these crazy theories. They are not going to just spring the halo 3 beta or halo 2 maps out of the blue. They will give us at least a week notice, I would expect mayb even a longer notice than that.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed but the grammar in that picture has horribly misplaced commas and the last sentence is redundant. This seems not to be the writing of a microsoft communications employee and therefore very very fake. Sorry to burst your bubble guys.

well i had a peep said he got a email saying beta be ready for down load soon as live is back up i got a link to this photo he sent its not mine i didnt get one is it a lie or real? 2 hours more to find out. tell me if u got this email i didnt, find out if this is a lie or not

I can't really say if this has anything to do with the Beta. But I don't think it is. Last time live was down, it was off for 24 hours and everyone flipped and thought it was something for Halo 2. Which it wasn't. Also, Rainbow six sucks and they already added maps before without shutting down all of live. So you should all settle down and stop asking for the Beta. It will be ready when it is ready and released when Bungie sees it to be fit. I mean I personally don't want a version of the Beta that is half put together and makes me want to shoot myself with a ton of glitches, low frame rates and etc.

HEY! STATUS CODE 80169d94!

This is just a target for a shot in the dark for anyone who can't upgrade their silver membership to a gold, or cant buy microsoft points. My 3-mo. expired, and it reverted to a silver, and when i tried to re-buy, it gave me a "Cant retrieve info from Xbox live. Please try again later. Status code 80169d94" This particular code is for fraud alert, apparently. ALL your info has to sync up, now, it would seem. I put in a fake name and phone number in one of the websites - Windows Live ID, had an old address on a second, and had my real address on my billing info.

So to fix this turd of a problem they've decided we're going to have, you have to fix all your info, then call 18004MYXBOX, where they will give you the runaround about your connection and ISP in some weird, vaguely unplaceable accent, placing you on hold every few minutes to distract you. DON'T TAKE IT!!! Tell them your connection is fine and you need them to check if your account has been frozen due to a fraud alert. Whenever you get transferred between departments, ask them to "escalate" (key word) your call to a "tier 2" employee. These "tier 2" employees are easier to understand, which you will be grateful for, at this point. And, they may be used to this problem by now, so just make sure everything online and in your 360 hard drive matches whats on your card and mailbox, and make sure you have an hour to spare for the call.
