Yes, same here as well. It's bugging the crap out of me... I'm about to leave.

[Edit:] Do you think it has anything to do with Xbox Live? They pull alot of information from there, now there's none.

Trololol

SK33T and DELETE

You probably noticed, but the site has undergone changes. And with these changes usually follows bugs and glitches. That's my guess.

Yeah... lame... I can't use Internet Explorer cause my virus program starts detecting viruses after like 15 mins of using it, especially on myspace, almost as soon as I go it does... Im sadly going to have to stick with Firefox...

Yeah, but the site has been up for a week now and there has been no big problems... So I find it kinda strange that the same day MS shuts down XBL for 14 hours is the same day Bungie.net starts acting like they're doing some major work to the website that is causing major slow load times for everyone. I doubt its some sorta bug or glitch...

i agree, i know it has to do with Live being down. this site has never acted like this.

I know! Because they don't have anyone working in the server room! All of the Bungie employees are doing everything they can to put the Beta on Xbox Live!

That is actually a very reasonable explanation... and is actually probably the cause... BUT I REALLY hope its for the Halo 3 Beta... so yeah... STOP RUINING MY DREAMS! haha

That's what I figured, too. X-Box Live is down. Many, many, people that would be playing Halo 2 or whatever else on X-Box Live are here, causing the website to slow down. It also makes sense, because the rest of the website works fairly well for me, but begins to move more slowly when I'm looking through the messageboard (which is where the majority of the people probably spend their time on this website).

Maybe its just me... But the Bungie.net website is hardly working for me. Its taking like 5-10 mins just to load a page, and its already made my computer freeze once... maybe this goes along with the "Is the XBL Downtime on 03.27.07 related to the Halo 3 Beta? [ v1.3.7 ]" but there is 45 pages and I know this wouldnt been seen... but maybe the website is being crazy slow because maybe that really is what is going on. They're preparing for the Halo 3 Beta stats. Also, Ive only been able to sucessfully load my profile page one time... and all other websites load in a matter of seconds for me... so its only Bungie.net. Anyone having the same problem I am?

Yep everything is back to normal. Might have been a bug fix or a server (at bungie) issue. Hopefully we will find out soon.

No, what happened was that the system did not effectively protect against Xbox Live being offline down in an automatic fashion. So, it was slow until we manually turned off the systems that hit Xbox Live. We'll work on fixing the code to not require a manual shut off, but for now, it should be working just fine.

ok good to hear. Another question.....is it normal to have 9 friends online on Bungie.net, or should I report it to the bug thread.
