When are we going to get our stats back? I need to know what my overall level is. I was playing slayer last night and was 1 game away from leveling up then we get standbyed. I checked last night and thought I lost exp. but the game has not shown up.

Is it usual for games not to appear like this?

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

Xbox live is down for work. it should be returning at the following times (if everything goes as planned.)
5 P.M EST
4 P.M CDT
3 P.M MT
2 P.M PST

Other counties I can't do the calculations. But you should be able to do it based off that chart. Once the service comes back on it will take a few hours for the stats to get all caught up.

Can someone explain how that would affect my game from 9pm PST still not showing up?

There is a delay between sending game data from the host (of your game) to the xbox live servers. From there they send it to the bungie servers which process it and then post it on the website. usually it takes all but 10 minutes but the team (and possible bungie) might start shutting down things early and getting things that aren't needed to be up and running so they have less to shut down. Don't worry though. All the stats are keep either on xbox live servers or in a database waiting for live to come back up. Once it does everything will be back to normal within a few hours.

This could also just be a bug. But Xbox live being down is most likely the problem.

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

It should also be noted that there is no type of agreement between XBL customers and Microsoft/Bungie as far as data goes. If some game data is lost, that's just the way it would be. But I don't think that that would be anything that would happen very much at all, since they want to satisfy their customers and not have their offices stormed by us gamer types. :)
