I love the new site. I'm not having any real errors, but here's a basic rundown of the whole site.

I. Pros
--- 1. Love the design.
------ A. The graphics are great. :D
--- 2. The new forum system is nice.
------ A. Enjoy not having to see sigs.
------ B. Sleek and more streamline feel.
------ C: Good job clearing up loading glitches, especially on Firefox.
--- 3. Great use of Flash. <Apparently it's Javascript>
------ A. Enjoy having the little 'Top Stories' ticker/banner.

II. Cons
--- 1. Nothing at the bottom.
------ A. I'm used to having the 'toolbar' of links (News, Games, etc.) at the header AND the footer.

Not really anything else in that category, not that really bothers me.

III. Glitches.
--- 1. Top Stories
------ A. Gets cut off.
--- 2. Forums
------ A. Forum List corrupted? <Alleviated>
------ B. Signatures cut off. <Disproved by Zee JollyRoger>

I encourage everyone to test this on the newest version of Firefox and tell me the results, this may be a clientside problem but I wouldn't be too sure just yet. Test in I.E.7 too, if you get the chance. :)

I'll add to this as things come to me.

Thanks for your time. Peace. ^_^

Gah! Are secret PM's DDR! Save the children!

Actually the new Signatures also have a height limit, break that and it will be automatically cut off.

I thought that sigs always had a limit.

Looks to be about 6 - 7 lines of text in height. Just test out your signature I suppose. However I feel that the forums aren't as cluttered as they once appeared do to the new "signature" placement.

Just so you know, the ":cut off" issue was brought up in day 1. the fix? USE IE.

While im a die-hard FF fan, i think it was stated this is not a FF built site, and therefore most glitches found in FF are void.

I believe Achronos stated that the site was developed for use with IE7 and FireFox 2.0

Signatures? No, that is something entirely different - and it is by design. Firefox 2 should work fine with this site, So should IE 7. IE 6 and Firefox 1.5 may work less so, but are still supported.

Achronos, I do have to complain though.. I can't see how cutting off a line half-way is helpful to the layout.. Would it really be terrible and ruin the entire design to add a few more pixels to the verticle signature box space?

(edit: Or is this just a FF-only error? :( I like Firefox. I'm not using IE...)

The forum list problem of mine has alleviated, must've just been either a one-time thing or something client-side.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

So I think Jun's a master chef, because he takes off his helmet and your like whoa, I think he's a chef.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

Hey Achronos, I have a bug to report. I use a Mac and Safari as my browser. When I go to edit my settings, all links in the player hub are just plain text. None of them contain links. This sucks because I can't go in and change my sig, avatar, or anything.

Already reported to bug/issue post above. they need to work on the fix and test it. But other things are being done now.

Are you guys working on Safari? Several glitches happen frequently with Safari, the biggest being the clickable toolbar in the Profile page. It's annoying, have to keep switching to FireFox if I want to change some settings.

Agreed. The signatures have been restricted from public view unless you manually look for them, so I see no reason to limit how much we can put in this field (lines, not chars.). Anyone else having a really hard time making a reply in FF? Anything I type takes a very long time to catch up. It's frustrating because I now have to use IE... :(
