Does anyone (read: mods) have any idea where I can E-mail to receive a little more information regarding a job at Bungie? I would like to apply, but am currently residing in Wisconsin, so it would be a significant undertaking. I E-mailed my questions to the jobs@bungie.com address, but I received a reply from the automailer that said they couldn't respond to questions through that E-mail address. And I don't have time to snail mail Bungie, but all the E-mail addys on the contact us page are for bnet, cheater reporting, or game support, neither of which is revelevant.

If anyone could steer me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it. I'm looking for either an E-mail address or a forum user that I could send a PM to.

Thanks!!

Achronos or Jeremiah both work at bungie. Maybe PM one of them and ask.

I'd say the webmaster, but that may not turn out to well.

That's not their job. Don't bother them with that..

Hehe.

Look, I would suggest you e-mail your resume anyway, and if they want you at all, they'll follow up by actually talking to you, I'm sure. However, if you're offering to fill a position they don't need I really doubt they'll hire you.

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

Exactly. When there is a business that makes good money and is really fun to work at (Or at least appears to be), the employment is going to be extremely competitive. As in: You'll send them your resume, and if you're lucky they might get back to you if they feel like it.

I'm always so amused by the people who post in the forum about getting a job. You're representing yourself in everything you do. Believe me, if you really wanted a job, you'd figure out who you need to talk to and get a hold of them. So it looks kind of lame when you post in the forum and say, "What do I do?!?!?!", and then mention that you're too lazy to send mail and imply that looking up some phone numbers would take too much of you're precious time. While you're busy thinking about getting a job, someone else is actually doing it. I don't mean to be rude; Just consider it training... :)

(Don't worry, you can trust me: I'm from Wisconsin too)

What?

Not wanting to send mail isn't laziness. If thousands of people send an E-mail, and one sends snail mail, how good are the odds for the one, especially since I was seeking to ask QUESTIONS.

The response would be something like:

"Hey, here's the answers to your questions; and the position is now filled, since a thousand people sent super fast E-mails"

Tell me, AnalogWeapon, which email would I use to ask a general question about employment at Bungie? Not any that are on the contact us page. I'm not going to be a jerk and call them (it says NOT to in the E-mail I received), or PM a forum mod who has no knowledge of the situtaion.

Next time, don't offer me your insults veiled as helpful insight.

No, I suggest you send in your resume, and if they want you at all, they'll probably talk further, give more details, and let you ask some questions. However, what's the point in asking any questions if you won't get accepted anyway?

Sorry I was insulting. I was in a bitter mood. The main point I was trying to make is that if you try, you can get a hold of somebody. And normal mail isn't as lame as you might think: Send it next day and include you email, phone, etc. Something tangible for them to hold is something they'll remember more than an email or even a phone call....

Again: Sorry for being a jerk about it. :)
