I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured it's a community/Bungie question so I guessed here.

Are the Bungie employees encouraged to post on the forums in their spare time, or are the just sent on their merry way?

Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

They usually don't post. They sometimes cruise around here and can find ideas, but they know that the majority of ideas in this forum should be BALEETED!

I asked this awhile ago, and I think the answer was something like:
"[Most employees don't have accounts, and they're certainly not supposed to post during work. They work all day, and then go home to their families or consoles, both with equal comforting abilities.]"

... ;) Something like that.

I don't imagine any of the 'various' post on Bungie.net.. Community Team, and that's about it.

Actually, it's with a Homestar Runner effect.

Actually, I think that the following quote might answer your question more accurately (this was posted by Achronos in this post (click here).:

Most Bungie staff are not permitted to speak to the fans as they have not been appropriately trained to not say something that would have bad consequences. Those that do speak out tend to do so elsewhere, because it easier to hide in plain sight, so to speak. This is a roundabout way of saying that you're probably stuck with just me and Frankie.
In other words, employees are not generally permitted to post here because of the potential that they might -- completely inadvertently and by accident -- leak sensitive information.

I'm sure that if an employee was really interested in getting involved in posting here, they could receive the appropriate training. Perhaps someday more Bungie employees will do so and become more frequent posters.

I'd assume that after Halo 3 is released, they would be able to participate seeing as there wouldn't be much else to "leak".

I think it is entirely up to the employees. They seem to post more at HBO. Of course, there are exceptions, and I am glad that a few Bungie employees post here.
