The flood are rediculouse. I dont mind the twist, and I dont mind the fact that they are "scary"... but I mind the fact that they are stupid as -blam!-. Fighting the Covenant was new and interesting everytime because they were smart and they sought out cover. They would attack in (somewhat primative) formations and they had vehicles.
The flood on the otherhand were stupid, and level after level got repetative. Now, I actually loved the library level. That may be hard to believe, but the idea of a level like that really appealed to me, and I found it fun. But I dont want to be facing a stupid enemy for the rest of the game. I dont want to be facing an easy to kill enemy either.
The idea of the flood was good, and I liked the twist, but they just werent awe inspiring. They didnt demand respect. They didnt make me feel like I was fighting for humanities sake and that I was the last hope. I felt like I was doing some B-rate job that any marine could have easily taken care of with a shotgun and a flashlight.
