Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Can anyone give us a new list of IP adresses for the official Bungie servers (CTF, Teams, or whatever they're called now)? There are a few servers out there named things like "BUNGIE-CTF-2 PRO" but are they real? It's hard to tell when the old list, and the one updated by Widowmaker both appear out of date.

Anyone? Am I a "loyal Bungie fan" or just some nobody you choose to ignore?

Yeah, I know. I bet they're probably going to turn them into H2V servers. Hope they have the guts to announce it instead of just sitting on it.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I also think an official word would be nice. I remember hearing "more to come" on this issue awhile back. If I remember correctly, the servers have been down since either late Nov of 06 or Dec 06... Good times....

Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing for some time now. I miss the Bungie Slayer servers. They were a meeting place for a lot of friends that I haven't seen for some time now.

Would it kill'em to have one server for each?

I wish someone from Bungie would respond to this thread rather than just ignore it. Those servers were an important part of Halo PC for a long time.

So bungie doesnt have any servers. I always thought bungie servers were thouse servers with 0 people on them (no offence to anyone).

So then what are thouse servers with no people on them. I always thought some one needs to be on a server to keep the server on.

Those are dedicated servers. The dedicated server program runs without graphics and just accepts connections. So unlike a hosted game, a dedicated server can have zero players.
