...And so the hero crawled through the fissure on the surface of Tyr. There, the lone Dwarf stared into the cold, dark eyes of Soulblighter...The fiend hefted his blade over his shoulder as a flock of raven took upon his form...

System link is where you connect two Xboxs together via an ethernet cable or some other device. It's great for Lan fests. It is not online, only the people on the other Xbox that you're connected to.

Technically, yes, but you'll need a big ass wire that can cross your street.

*connects wire to wire* connects another wire to wire* *car runs over wire and causes the match to end*
Dammit!

Remember those old-fasioned tin can-telephones you used to connect through a long wire in your neighborhood? Neither do I, but if you can get a cable to stretch that long, you can play together whenever you want. :)

A friend of mine tried running a long home-made lan cable through a quarter mile of woods to get to his friends house. He ran out of cable, but I bet if you had the resources it could be done.

The more practical solution, of course, is just going over to the guy's house with your xbox.

oooor...if you both have high speed internet and the necessary hardware you could both download Xbox Connect (http://www.xbconnect.com) and play eachother through the internet. visit http://www.xbconnect.com/help if you have any questions

We actually have a few 300 foot ethernet cords that stretch to my friend's hub so we have a LAN's in our neiighborhood all the time. I wonder how nobody has stolen them or cut them yet, we always leave them out.

You must live in 1985, where nobody locks their cars or homes.

No matter what you do in life, you will disappoint someone.
No matter what you say, you will offend someone.
No matter what you think, someone will think you're an idiot.

Find and eliminate these people.

Well, 1985 or Canada.

No, I live right next to the ghetto, and I've had about $2,000 dollars of bicycle stolen from me, and my mom's rear window has been smashed with a boulder, and her new car got the passenger mirror smashed off of it. Then again, it is just a cord...

Anyways, I have a question about my XBC. It used to work when I had my old computer. I had my ports forwarded, and I could join almost any game I wanted to on Halo, and never any on Halo 2. Then I could only join some games, and now none, but I have the console found, and my ports forwarded. Maybe somehow my new computer made the ports not forwarded?

Scratch that, I had my firewall blocking XBC. Doh'! >_<
