I've had this account for like...almost three years...and I linked my gamertag to it a long time ago. Now, that gamertag is long expired. I've got a new gamertag ,that I want to link. Anyone know how to link it and then unlink it? Thanks...

You can't.

Well, maybe Xbox Live Support can (you have to call them). There is no online tool for this.

Actually, you can.

I've had this b.net account for 2 years now I think and I used to have a different GT linked to it.

When I got my 360 and was setting everything up I entered my email address in (same one for my passport) and it automatically linked it to this b.net account.

I don't know exactly how I did it because I was under the impression you couldn't, so I wasn't really paying attention.

You can do it though.

You have been plundered by Cap'n IceWolfen. Arggggggggg!

Well i dont know how to can explain that, lol. I mean, when you get your 360 your change your acount from the old outdated live account to the Xboxlive gold account. Everybody has to do it, but i really cant explain the whole changing deal. My best suggestion would be to call 1-800-4MYXBOX. Bungie really cant help you with this matter. I mean, if it has to do eith your gamertag and email, then you would proably do better calling MS.

This is the only way to actually do it.

Nope, there's another way, and that other way, is the way I explained above.
