Hey, guys. l haven't been here as often as l used to; been pretty busy, but l'm still trying to keep on Halo 3's progress. l always make sure l read the updates every Friday, and the Humpday challenges as well. So, anyways, here's my question: l know leaks have been a big problem here. People keep emailing or sending pictures via the web even tho it's not allowed. Now, l'm not asking for any but l just wanted to know...how's Bungie doing on controlling the problem? Have there been anymore leaks? lt would really suck is something similar happened with Halo 3 as did Halo 2 - we all know about the hacked French download of Halo 2....and while l mentioned that, did they ever catch who was responsible for that?

I'm not aware of any large scale leaks. There were a few pictures I think about weapons or something like that, but nothing that would really make anyone sweat.

Bungie is doing a pretty good job at making sure information doesn't leak out. We must remember that Halo 3 was the best kept secret of all time.

Well, the best way to stop leaks is to call a plumber.

Wait a minute... I think I'm confused.

Oh! That kind of leak!

I think the best way would be to send the Webmaster on his jet pack to "talk" to the people who leaked this stuff.

The following is off-topic:
Whenever you post a joke/pun or something like that on the forum, try to imagine the thread as a room with a bunch of people in it. When you type-up your post, it's your turn to talk. Now, imagine saying that out-loud to a bunch of people. What kind of reaction are you gonna get? ;)

Sorry bout' that :\ In any case, Halo 3 has done a very good job on keeping it secret. However, there have been a few leaks of the Alpha version, a few of our soldiers (I'm Canadian, but we're one big family right, eh?) at Afghanistan got a few copies of Halo 3 Alpha. And some of them decided to record it, and post it on various video sites around the web... :\

Then the question we have to ask is if you really talk like that in a room of people or you're just pretending to act intelligent. Online is a different community and setting than a room full of random people. Its a world full of random people who don't know you or, even better, don't care about ones comments.

Bungie doesn't tell us about leaks because, one, with Bungie, secret keeping is part of the job description. Two, anyone stupid enough to leak information from Bungie, or any other site for that matter, knows that the site and its owners have the full provision of the law to prosecute anyone who steals their stuff.
