tool all the way hhmm it seems that most halo players tend to be tool fans as well including most of my halo budies. bet its the drums. danny carey seems to capture that tribal halo esque drum feel.

i havent really though about it. I personally would go for something rocky and loud to get you motivated but silence i.e. multi-player; is actually okay for those who need to concertrate like snipers ect. so you could go either way

'The offspring' seem to do the trick for me.

But, truly, I'll listen to just about anything that sets the right mood for some adequate XBC or LAN action.

Even if you are not the greatest of players, the right music can turn the tables at times. : )

not weird at all. i remember discovering that the beatles didn't suck - i had always assumed they did - and my life has been richer ever since. i was surprised how hard it was to stop listening to revolver.

also great for an mp game are the first couple of albums by pantera or danzig. and i've been listening to electric six too much lately. i must be a dance commander.

the singer also has that last of my kind so I'm gona kick @$$ sound
bassist has the coolist hypnotic yet rythmicly complicated sounds
drummer has the tryble sound doun on the tombs (hardly ever uses his snare)
the guitarist is the master of feed-back
peeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrfect for flood iradication duties.

In multiplayer (serious): No music (or the above music very quietly)
In multiplayer (not serious): Metallica, The Offspring, The Ataris and my own bands album.
