Well...I do have my own webpage. Is that enough?

That page is positively painful, and is a shining example of why this site is so awesome.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstien

This site is, i must say, far stricter when it comes to these things. But it is well justified. Most everything here that used to be a privilage was used wrongly by the community in some way, or as a way to gain leverage over the rest of the community and invoke elitism. The sheer size of this community and the number of "non gamers" in it make it impossible to trust anyone with anything.

PS: Knowing a few HTML tags and being able to use paint doesnt make you a master web builder. No offense to you. There are some websites that allow HTML, but it isnt required, just deal with what is supplied.

I just don't like using this font. It makes me feel basic.

Good thing, too. We wouldn't want anyone running around being individual. That's messy.

Be individual by the content, not the format, of your posts.

I go to Gamespot.com when I want to add pics or format. I like how Bungie restricts us. Some people would and do abuse their freedom.

You have bold underline and italic already... What do you think could be added that would improve communication in any way? I'm a web designer myself, and I love the fact that those are the only code options available: It makes the forums easy to read. Since the forums are for communication, having them easy to read is the logical choice, imo.

But seriously: What other options do you think would make sense?

The

function needs to come back, and badly. With multiple levels of lists for optimal organization. I would like to see bullet points back if possible, but that's not a big deal because you can always just cut and paste the special characters.

Did you have some kind of problem with the
function or something?

I'm a Web Design monkey, so yeah, can't live without it.

Just out of curiosity, if you are a web design monkey, why dont you have your own domain and such? Your individuality is shown not in your format, or how elaborate a code you can use. It is shown in actual words in your posts.

Oh, you can't do sub-lists anymore?
Alright, I can see why you wouldn't have text color, font type, etc. That's obvious to me.

But removing
and sub-lists? :\
I'm a bit sad about that. I don't recall them getting abused.

Agreed, I do not recall either function being abused. Even if a spammer were to abuse these functions, removing them doesn't make them less likely to spam. The list function was amazingly useful. Sucks that it's not working.... hope it comes back.

No, you used to be able to make a bullet list with sub-lists, as such.

I mean, I guess I could do what I'm doing here, but it seems much messier.

If you want to make ugly pointless posts, use MySpace. That's what most people do. :)

True true true. Go there for pointless posts. It basically shows you that on the homepage.
