Most of the time I come to bungie.net to read the news it's because a friend of mine mentioned something about it that I liked. Alot of the time when I get on my PC I just check my emial and then proceed to play pc games on it or just get off period. One thing I would like to see would be a Bungie.net Newsletter or something.

Of course it'd be optional but I'd love to be able to read the bungie news in my email and then decide whether or not from there if I want to go discuss it or further investigate what the fuss is about... And if this was implemented I'd be able to stay up to date since I consistantly forget to check out the site for more news on h3 updates and some h2 stuff. Hell, for all I know this probably exists and I'm just to clumsey to find it.

I'm not sure Achronos would like this idea at all but I'd like to see it happen. Just a thought.

Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

Isn't that what an RSS feed does or am I still baffled as to why in the hell RSS would exist?

I'm not educated on how RSS feed works. The most I've ever did with one is copy and paste the address or something for a stat website.

it works similarly. but i am not very educated in that field either. ;-)

i don't really know. i'm fine with it now. take a look at yourself. we've become so lazy that we don't want to waste seconds on typing in a few characters to go to another site and then clicking a few things. i find myself doing things like that a lot. don't be lazy. be american.

You just contradicted yourself.

To the OP, I honestly don't see why you need an email alert for news. Just check it every Friday night, that's what I would do, but I'm always on b.net because I have no life..

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

Yes that what the RSS feed does. it provides a brief (1-2 sentences) overview of what the news is (usually first 2 sentences) and sends it to you.

If I were you, I would just read the front page.

You could just get the RSS feed, and a reader. It's a lot easier to just read the story as it appears on the front page, though.
