Bungie, your labeling of the new Halo 2 maps as "gifts to the community" has really confused me. How can they be gifts?

We are paying for them! Last I checked, I have never had to pay for a gift.

Also, I would like to ask, why is Microsoft forcing you to charge for this? The game has brought in around $300+ million dollars....how can they be greedy enough to charge for two maps on a 2-and-a-half year old game? And please, don't beat around the bush and say CA needs snacks. I would appreciate honesty and integrity behind the "justification" of the outrageous fee.

At least Epic came straight out and said it's Microsoft's fault that the 4 Gears Maps, that have been ready for MONTHS, haven't been released because Microsoft wants to charge for it.

As a member of this community, I would really appreciate that. Because a gift that the community has to pay for to enjoy is no gift at all: it's an attempt to take advantage of an all-too-generous community that loves your game. So don't call it a gift.
