Reseting the stats. Nice guys, really no sarcasam. I like the idea of bringing the community back. Like, Now people arent playing so compettive because they are forgeting about there levels, and soon, it will be great to play someone you have never played before.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I got XBL 3 days ago and I only got to lvl 11 so whatever....

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

The purpose of resetting the stats is not just to prevent cheating with the new autoupdate.... it actually helps to make matchmaking games easier to find. This will cause the Halo 2 gaming community to become more closely bunched together in rank, making it more likely that you will find someone at your skill level and get a faster game going. I love the idea of faster matchmaking, and thus I think it's a great idea.

Anyone who tied their personal identity to their rank needs to step back and get a new perspective on life. The rankings were only to help you find games at your skill level more easily.

I remember when it used to be almost impossible to a find matches in ranked BTB. This should help.

I think the idea has a lot of good potentional behind it. I know a lot of screaming little kiddies are gonna cry and whine when their rank that they poored 6 years of their life into goes down the drain...but hey, that is their problem. I don't play XBL anymore so it really won't bother me, (exspecially considering I was only a 35 in 3 playlists, the rest were in their 20's.) But I quit playing XBL a long time ago, so oh well. Anyway, yeah I think they are really smart to do that, and I think it will make it easier on people who have big friendlists with like 40's, and 16's, and they want to play with all of them......but can't. This will bring everyone back together, and for the most part you all will rank up, or rank down....together.... I think its a really great idea.

Oh teh noes! Ranking down from level one! :P
Hm, might be interesting playing all the playlists again. All I ever play is team snipers, maybe I'll get back into team slayer or something.

I have suggested this before, and I am happy that they are reseting them. Although it may already be to late considering other people have been fading off into newer games. I will probably still be getting on Halo just as much as before, but playing a little more ranking hoping that the new ban hammer can get the job done likes Bungie says.

Can we make ranks invisible? So that people don't know what rank they are? This would prevent posts like the above lines.
