YEAH, PWN THAT FEETUS!

Bungie won't let it happen, as well as the fans that will get test the Beta. Personally if I was apart of the Beta I would spend as much time as I could trying to exploit the game. I could careless that I am playing Halo 3, since I will be playing it regardless in the Fall. This way I could have a more complete and polished game.

Halo CE had perfectly fine graphics. And the reason there are so many H1 > H2 people is because Halo CE is better in more areas other than graphics and online. Halo 2 can only brag graphics and online and nothing else. Halo CE had a better storyline, larger levels, more freedom, and less glitches.

If you've really thought about it, halo 1, hardly had any glitches, Halo 2 has hundreds, What about Halo 3. Halo 2 has superjumps, Killed by the Gaurdians, Getting out of maps, Weapon Glitches. And a whole bunch of other stuff, but what if halo 3 just does it again, Superjumps, Weapon glitches, etc. Or none at all. Killing is fun, But you probably cant do anyhting cool. And mods. I dont know if Bungie does, but, Microsoft thinks modding is Illegal, there cheating, on live, but normally people wouldnt do matchmaking, they custom games, and they dont let idiots in there party so that they report them. To be honest I dont think modding is wrong, in Matchmaking yeah, but no. Just shoot a plasma Pistol, and a Spartan comes out or a plasma grenade.I wish I could mod. But some idiots will probably report me. Thats why I stuck with Action Replay. But I only did ti with my Xbox. Not 360, which is the one that has live.

I agree completely. I think most everyone who played CE before Halo 2 can really appreciate how much better it is. Just my oppinion though.
As for the original post. I think that bungie is taking steps to make Halo 3 more like Halo: CE in the glitches department. As bungie has said before,in halo 2 they were under lots of time constraints and didnt have the "polish" time that the original game had. They have also stated that they have better managed their time to allow for that polishing period in halo 3. Finally there is the beta. The purpose of the beta is to iron out the glitches for multiplayer before release. So i dont think there will be nearly as many problems with halo 3.

To all of you who claim there is so many more glitches in H2 rather than H:CE, you are wrong, H:CE is full of them, and so is Halo 2. The reason that YOU know of more glitches in Halo 2 is because of the mere population that plays Halo 2, versus the population of people who played Halo:CE and the ratio to that of how many people you played with versus Halo 2. Also, the Bungie team has increased massively, they're going to be able to smooth out every part of the game 50% better in all aspects as opposed to Halo 2. Now when it comes to modding... I don't really have anything to say, Bungie and Microsoft said don't do it... so don't.

And I've been playing Halo:CE the past few days, and it has its ups and downs versus Halo 2. I personally like Halo 2 better, although I do miss my M6D.

The main reason for the Beta is to test the Net Code. Anything beyond that is an inherent bonus of having beta tests.

Name more than this then: Superbounce, rocket/sword lunge glitch (corrected), dropping things through the maps, BXB, BXR, RRX YY, wall glitch. All of those are Halo 2. Halo CE had probably around 3. And did you play Halo CE first or second? Becuase that does make a difference. You will usually like the first one better becuase your used to it, but there is a definitive learning curve difference between Halo CE and Halo 2... it being that Halo CE has a higher one.

Ok well, you could fall/drop things through the maps in H:CE. BXB, BXR, RRX YY, etc thats one glitch, merely different ways of exposing the same malfunction. Anyways, you could get out of every map in H:CE, go through them, get in objects, get in the walls. There was the ghost glitch, scorpion glitch, teleport glitch, and obviously the infamous "warthog launch", which turned into many different launching techniques, although not a glitch. Theres plenty more that has run through my head that I cannot think of. But believe me, I spent hours on end learning H:CE glitches.

And im assuming you are saying I like H2 more because I played it first? Not what I was implying, I played H:CE since release, up to H2 release. I loved the game. But what I am saying is that the past few days I've been playing H:CE, and been making true comparison, going back and forth between the two. They are both superb games, I will not lie. And I do not understand what you mean by saying H:CE has the higher learning curve?? Saying it takes more skill??

Those aren't glitches, they aren't against anything in the game. You can jump over walls and stuff using perfectly normal physics that don't destroy the normal operation of the game. Superbounce defies gravity, BXB and the other glitches are exploiting a glitch/error in the cancellation button. And how many many of those glitches are beneficial in a serious game? How many of them alter gameplay in a significant way or increase the player's killing potential? The only ones used barely increased their effectiveness in battle. But ALL of the glitches in Halo 2 assist the player in an actual match. Button glitches increase melee and shooting speed, superbounces improve your vantage point by giving you an overview of the map and the high ground, and then the wall glitches assist in player defense by making it so you can shoot them and they cannot shoot you.

Halo CE has a higher learning curve due to a lower amount of Aim Assist, thats a fact. That is what bungie wanted though, to lower the learning curve of Halo 2 to allow a wider audience to play. They just lowered it a little too much for the CE fans.

I feel as though Halo 1 had more glitches than Halo 2.

Halo 1 had you working for glitches and thus went unnoticed. But Halo 2 had obvious skulls 'n such.
