Subject: Why is the file size so big?

This Halo 3 screenshot from Bungie.net is about 4.10 MB.
But this same picture from a different website is only 662 KB. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just curious why the size difference is so big. All the other pictures from that website are about the same size as the ones at Bungie.net.

Bungie's is in superHD grande-ness. The other one is not.

I work for the Department of Defense.

Should be obvious man, Larger dimensions = larger file size.

And its compressed. You would be surprised how good PS is at compression, while keeping the human eyes perception of flaw at bay.

Ah yes, now that I actually compare the two pictures when I zoom in Bungie.net's looks better. Thanks for opening my eyes lol. I'll keep the other one though, when I look at screenshots I don't tend to zoom in.

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

Yeah, it's pretty crazy how much the file size will go down (Without too much visible loss in quality) on a JPG image when you implement compression.
