Well, I have noticed that as of late a few of the forums have been a bit, misleading. I say this, because there are many off topic threads in forums such as the Bungie Community Forum and the Underground. For example, the underground is, well it was about old school Bungie Games and Bungie Lore. Within the forum now however, there is questions asking about games, people asking for opinions on new games, and ideas for Halo 3. Some of you may ask, "Why is that any different?". Well, from my views, it has increased a fair amount. These threads are also in the Bungie Community Forum as of late as well. Now, personally, I think it may have something to do with the Forum Titles and the Description of each forum. The Underground for example: Underground; General Bungie Chat and Activities. Then the Bungie Community; A gathering place for Bungie community activity. Now, with the new comers, don't you think this is a little misleading? Now, this may just be me, but I think I may not be the only one seeing this difference. So, I personally suggest that the forum titles and the descriptions are changed to a far more 'literal' term. So, anyone with suggestions, ideas, comments? This may just be me ranting, but I think this is an important issue; as of the lack of interests lately anyway. Well, input, criticism, comments, and suggestions are all welcome.

Thank you for your time,
~Rokit~

It's not misleading at all. If people are too stupid that when they look down the list and see "Halo 3 forum" and "Off topic: The Flood", then they decide to post in the Underground...

Well, we can't provide for all realms of stupidity. Maybe we should start using pictures instead of words, for the people who can't read.

It's not misleading. If people just used common sense, rather than going to the first forum they see, then maybe threads would actually go where they belong.

It's funny how, with the new updated forum, the subtitles had to be changed to help "guide" users to the correct forum xD. I guess some people couldn't comprehend "The Maw". Makes the Internet feel like they're a bunch of babies that have to be spoon-fed.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They specifically gave the forums these boring names to make it less misleading... >_>

Most people make forum titles misleading so that they get your attention.

Let's break it down, shall we?

Well, I have noticed that as of late a few of the forums have been a bit, misleading. I say this, because there are many off topic threads in forums such as the Bungie Community Forum and the Underground.Because of the Beta info, participation in the community has increased. Most people just join for the first time, they get excited and post in the wrong forum. Not everyone is infallible. These threads are also in the Bungie Community Forum as of late as well.Once again, an influx of new members and general increased member participation would result in more threads being made in the improper place. No, I think it's pretty clear. They're a day waiting time for users to get familiar, it's their fault if they don't pay enough attention to know where threads should go. The only two that could be considered confusing are the two you mentioned - The Underground and the Bungie Community. But your complaint of having Halo 3 threads in the Underground doesn't really apply. The Halo 3 Forum is clearly labeled as the Halo 3 Forum, there's no guessing there. You cannot get confused with Halo 3 and The Underground. Well, input, criticism, comments, and suggestions are all welcome.Change them to what? They're pretty clear. The only problem I see is that you don't have any suggestions to what they should be changed to. So for that I'm going to assume you think that they're labelled sufficiently.

Change The Septagon's name back, change the description to Bungie.net and Community Discussion.
Change The Underground's description to Bungie Oldskool.
Move The Flood to the top of the forum list, Halo 3 directly underneath.
Problems solved.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

There is a reason the Flood isn't listed as a major forum...
