Does anyone know of what email address I should use to contact Bungie about my future college experience. Im curious as to how to get into game industry but everytime I email their job email they never respond. Anyone have any ideas as to the email for this info?
Some guy made this for me.
I think the jobs section is really only if you want to apply at Bungie, not ask for advice on your future considerations. Probably the only thing they could tell you would be to do something you really want to do that's involved in gaming. It shouldn't be hard to find a list of jobs that are held by people making a video game. From there you would then need to decide on what you want to do, and then it's up to you to figure out how to achieve your goals.
Thanks for the advice I just wanted to know from them though if I should stay at the University of Washington and get a computer science degree or just go to somewhere like Digipen. Thing about Digipen is that it has a 75 percent dropout rate due to rigorous cirriculum.
I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen). One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

Can't blame them), so you probably won't have much luck. I'm sure there's all sorts of other ways to get in touch with people in the industry who will have advice to offer.[Edited on 04.17.2007 9:46 AM PDT]

Bungie already helped out with this. ;) (click!)
Attend fullsail, it's about the best (and digipen). It's 60k, though. I believe they are the place to get started.

Posted by: nate the newtmost colleges have a new game development certificate, i know mine does (im enrolled in my local community college) becuase they adopted it half way through the year and im talking my parents into letting me switch from a coputer sciences degree to the certificate and letting me get the degree later on down the road... try looking for something like that locally, then if they dont have it look to other schools for a computer sciences degree...You may want to consider continuing with the CS degree. The CS degree will give you a broader experience if you are unsuccessful in getting into the gaming industry. The CS degree won't prevent you from getting a gaming position but the game certificate may prevent you from getting a regular programming position.
Awesome thanks for all the replys guys appreciate it. Think I'm gonna stay at the University of Washington for now and just start doing computer animation on my own spare time.
