look man, Its quite simply Just plug you ethernet cable into your computer and into your xbox, Use the network setup wizzard in windows to share your internet connection with your xbox. Or you can simply plug it into the back of the modem, wich becomes a pain because u need to plug it back in to use the internet on your comp. But instead of fussin with all that cable just buy the wireless connection for xbox, I beleive it retails for 50 dollars or somthing. Any gamestore should have it or best buy. Hope i helped
as brilliant as tmone is, that is not a good solution. The best thing you can do is get a router for your DSL. Let me ask you this; does your DSL modem have a USB or a Ehternet connection to your PC? If it is USB, you will need to get a Modem(with Ehternet out) and a Router. If your xbox is far away from the computer and your dsl connection you have two choices from there. You can get a very long Ehternet Cable (to patch the xbox into the router) or you can get a wireless router and a wireless Xbox adapter. Beware, if you do the latter you will want to setup some wireless security to prevent your network (ie any shared resources on your PC) and your internet connection from being abused. I have a wireless network in my home, two computers hardwired, wireless laptop, and my xbox is hard wired (i was too cheap to pay $75.00 for a xbox wireless card). I can give you more on this subject, but i really need to get reay for work. MSG me later is you want more details, or more help. i do this stuff for a living and am always happy to help fellow gamers.
