we just wanna kick ass and leave a footprint

i accidenly put too many maps in my map folder so i accendly "corrupted" the map folder for CE and i uninstalled custome edtion but wen i reinstall it says the files are still corrupted or a cabinet file or something someone help me so i can like play custom edtion again =]

Reinstall to different directory.

Remove the currupt map and it will all go back to normal. Windows should tell you which map corrupt, I wish it would do that with our politicians.

control panel> add/remove program> find halo ce click remove

i uninstalled halo ce but when i try to install it it says its corrupted or something about a cabinet file and how do i install to a different directery?? HELP MEEE PLEASE

If your .cab file (The large files on the CD) are corrupted, you're screwed. Go buy a new CD.

The cabinet file (.cab) is found on the Halo PC CD, which you need to have in the drivewhen you install Custom Edition. Try reinstalling vanilla Halo and if it gives you the same message, you have a bad disc.
