I don't really pay enough attention to who's who on the forums to know which mods I've interacted with pre-modhood. I'm fairly certain that if I did interact with any would-be mods, I treated them as just random b.net users, whom I usually treat with respect unless they do something to make themselves unworthy of it.

I definitely pay more attention to mod posts than ordinary-user posts, though. They were made mods for a reason, and that reason is that they know what they're talking about. Plus, they've spent a lot of time on the site, obviously, so they've had a lot of time to get their opinions straight.
