Every Friday morning I get up and see if the Weekly update has been posted or not (usually not) so I wait till later that day for the Update. I expect to see an update, notice, anything concerning chapters. I haven't heard anything about them for the last month.
The 7th Column still reads as it always has:
Groups have been temporarily disabled. We are currently rebuilding Groups to be better integrated with the rest of bungie.net and have more features and functionality than they have had in the past. However, this takes time, and as the old groups do not function in the current design of bungie.net, they have been disabled until further notice. We hope to have them back online within a few weeks. At that time, your groups will return, and should include better functionality and reliablity than ever before. In the iterim, we apologize for the delay.
I though "within a few weeks" meant that we would be our chapters back in no time, no big deal. I guess not. From the announcement of the New Hawtness 2.0 to it's opening was about a month to a month and a half, why so long for chapters? I understand that the web team is taking their time and all but can we at least get an update?
I am a "Chapter Guy" and I am really excited about the re-opening. I will remain patient but just an update on them and I will be happy. :)

I'm afraid that bungie.net has a severe rat problem, they will soon sort that out.
On topic: It's the work on the Halo 3 beta and Halo 3 itself that's delaying the work on better and kick ass groups.
