i just bought halo 1 for the pc and i can't play on-line. i have my computer hooked up to my dads thru a LAN and he has the internet. whenever he is on, i can get on. i tried to play on-line, and a message popped up saying "An error has occured trying to contact the gamespy master server."...........What am i supposed to do?

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Make an exception in your firewall for Halo.

I believe the ports are 2302 and 2303, but I could be wrong.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Tell your Dad you need him to configure Internet Connection Sharing to allow you to play your game on the internet. I don't know the exact process, but ICS is a good place to start.
