Doesn't the current installations in the Halo series remind you people of Star Wars? Take Halo: CE. The plot is, (VERY broken down): Humans vs Covies. Star Wars was Rebels vs Empire. A good guy who is weaker and a much more powerful antagonist. The Halo ring itself, in a way, can easily be compared to the Death Star. It is a weapon of awsome power, that the bad guys wanna use against us. Our protagonist(s): HALO-Chief, Cortana, Johnson, Keyes. SW-Luke, Leia, Han. This is very similar. Now, Halo 2. The second installment. Like, Empire Strikes back. Both focus in more on the happenings of the Bad Guys, whether it's Vader and his son, Luke, or the Covies and their civil war in the social classes. They both also had a VERY cliffhaner-like ending. SW-Han is taken away by Boba Fett, Luke loses his hand and the Rebels are on the run from the Empire. HALO-Master Chief arrives at Earth, which has no more MAC guns, and is being overrun by the Covenant fleet (awesome cutscene btw). And the Covenant are still fighting at Earth. Also, like Han Solo, Johnson and Miranda Keyes have been taken away by the Covenant.(!!! that cutscene of the Prophet and Brutes leaving the Holy City with johnson and keyes, looks A LOT like the scene where Fett pulls away in the nick of time as Luke and Han/Master Chief, run onto the landing platform!!!) And! There's still the standby status of the 25 Halo installations, which are ready to fire, and only Earth can activate them!?!?! AWESOME. Finally we come to the third installment. I don't know about you, but I certainly see a resemblance. That is why I whole heartedly believe that Halo 3 is coming out, don't know when, and I believe it will finish the coolest story since, you guessed it, Star Wars.
