Wont happen anytime soon simply because of computer hardware. The 360 has a prototype R600 onboard, and that would make it be the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM requirement. It wouldn't be anywhere near economical for a game to be released with such high minimum requirements as the user base probably wouldn't be high enough to even cover economic profit.. If you think H2V's minimum requirements on three year old hardware is high, imagine how Halo 3's would be in relation anytime before 2010.
No, you're mistaken. The Xbox360 has a "run-down"/modified X1900XT, and does not do DX10. The requirements wouldn't be that high, with optimization.
No, I'm not mistaken. The 360 uses a prototype R600. Do remember that this GPU was in the works for at least three years before the 360's launch. Of course it doesn't use DX10, it's a console. It uses specialized code that is neither DX9 nor DX10. It's somewhat of a hybrid, a mutant, and a new species all at once. The chip might have been developed with the name of C1 R500, but it is rediculously similar to the R600 design. 48 unified shaders and native architecture that allows 4x FSAA; if you believe that's a trimmed down X1k series GPU, there's little to nothing I can do to save you. Xenos is a prototype R600, simple as that.
