49-49?

Sir I was unaware that big team battle had a first to 50 CTF game.

It must have taken several hours at least.

How many times have you come across this variant?

It is my cultural upbringing Ma'am it is for me considered an insult to not adress people formally.

So if I ever neglect to adress someone formally then I am in fact insulting them and subtly showing that I think they are a total idiot. XD
_____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________
With respect Ma'am why don't you keep to the pointless idiocys of your culture that others find laughable.

And I will keep to mine. XD

Hmmm, this gets a little more suspicious each day. If addressing people in a video game forum in an informal or familiar way could actually be considered one of the idiocies of American culture then I would find THAT laughable. It is, in fact, equally if not more insulting to refer to people formally when it is so obviously contrived and disingenuous. Suggesting American culture is laughable and insinuating that we are rude due to the lack of a few misplaced "sirs" and ma'am s" is asinine. I have seen some of your posts before, you always struck me as someone who meant well and was trying to be overly polite for the sake of credibility. I don't see any problem with calling an idiot an idiot; lord knows there are plenty of them contributing to these forums. I do have a problem with a misguided sense of cultural superiority being used as a way of subtly insulting people who are just participating in a casual discussion about a video game. It just seems silly. If I have misunderstood or misread your words then I apologize friend, American bashing just always cracks me up. Good day sir =)

By the way, my worst moment happened on Ascension. I had just dropped down, grabbed the rockets and bumped up that grav lift thing. I turn to see all 4 of the opposing team at the top of the big tower protecting their sniper. I can already hear the killtacular call coming through my speakers as I fire the first rocket; its going to be beautiful! At the last second I decide I had better let go of the second rocket to clean up anyone that happened to live through the first blast. As I pull the trigger for the second time you can imagine my disappointment when instead of killtacular all I hear is "suicide". Those stupid revolving bars got in my way. It was bad enough that my first rocket didn't kill anybody in the tower and the only one I managed to actually hit was myself, it was far worse when I did the exact same thing again later in that same match. Every time I drop down for rockets since that day I have used the portal, its far more idiot-proof.

You have misunderstood me indeed sir. I do not adress your informality as a cultural idiocy at all it is merely a difference between our cultures. i was merely talking about American cultural idiocys in general. I will not go into explaining American ways which non Americans would find amusing and unnecessary. As I am sure you can understand if I simply leave it at. "Not everyone thinks and talks like a large majority of Americans do".

I would say that my formality is of course probably seen as stupid and unnecessary by many of you but it is simply the environment I have lived in all my life and the way I was brought up and I know no different. I'm not about to change my entire attitude just because a group of people I never have nor probably will meet thinks it is weird.

Haha, ok then. It is a difference in cultures, to be sure. I certainly concede that "not everyone thinks and talks like a large majority of Americans do". As a matter of fact not everyone thinks and talks like a large majority of Europeans do. Not everyone thinks and talks like a large majority of Asians do. Not everyone thinks and talks like a large majority of South Americans do..... I think I see a pattern developing. I don't find your formality stupid or unnecessary. I do, however, find any and all arrogant suggestions of cultural superiority stupid and unnecessary. Perhaps that is what you were going for, perhaps not. Either way its a moot point, I am glad we were able to express our opinions. I just grow tired of hearing non-Americans snipe away with their often condescending and always unsolicited opinions as if they know what they are talking about. I presume non-Americans don't care what Americans think of their countries or cultures, what in the world would possibly make those people believe we care about theirs? Its a crazy cycle. If I misinterpreted I again apologize, "pointless idiocys of your culture that others find laughable" probably threw me for a loop. Have a great day!

I am glad to see the matter resolved i do not AT ALL believe my country to be superior to yours.

Although with our economy growing the way it is we shall soon be richer than you and claim the richest country in the world topspot which America has held for an extremely long time. XD

Good day to you as well sir!

This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?

My worst H2 moment? Boy, I get those moments a lot. Practically every single time the host is on the other side of the world (read: USA and South America) and I'm the only European playing. I throw a grenade, a guy walks right over it when it blows up, I empty half a BR clip in his head (dot in center of reticle), he takes me down with his single SMG. Or I snipe someone square in the head *TWICE*, he shoots back a half a second later, I die.

It's not exactly one moment, but every time I've tried playing Team Slayer lately, I get matched up with people who are so bad that we lose about 20 to 50. That explains me being stuck on level 1.

Im sure its 500% your team mates fault

You mean something like that?

Actually sir America is on the other side of the world to China which is where I live.

The other side of the world to you is Australia or NewZealand or somewhere around there depending on wherabouts in Europe you live.

You don't have it that bad really sir.

banshee- a spirit in the form of a wailing woman who appears to or is heard by members of a family as a sign that one of them is about to die.

ghost- the soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit imagined, usually as a vague, shadowy or evanescent form, as wandering among or haunting living persons.

Yeah I guess they're a bit different.. I can understand your humility in confusing the two.

Might you be persuaded to let me replace "world" with "Atlantic Ocean"? ;-)

And although you probably have the same if not even worse problems doesn't mean it becomes less annoying for me.

I'm used to that by now. Just today I played BTB 1-flag on Zanzibar and I wondered why literally all opponents were attacking poor little me. Well, I was the only one left from my team .... I was so busy I didn't notice they left. ^ ^

But I agree, that's about the second most annoying thing for me.

Getting no-scoped by my sister on Zanzibar. She was waiting at Camp Froman, and was looking at the sea wall. So I snuck up behind her to attempt an assasination (I missed...). Apparently she looked at my screen, and then turned around and fired. Needless to say, she got a medal.

I was playing CTF on Waterworks and drove the warthog to the other base. I ran around to the back entrance and grabbed the flag. One of my teammates drove the warthog back without me. So I tried walking back to my base, and ended up getting a few melee kills on the way. I was about ten feet away from my flag when one of my own teammates betrayed me and took the flag for the final capture.
