KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came

I needed a break from groups, but it has been a long time now. I want them back, but I can wait until the Online Team is not so busy with the Beta.

Yeah, I haven't really been on Bungie.net much since I couldn't go to KOTOR. Nowadays, I'm mainly on ebaumsworld forums.

I've been thinking. The Bungie webteam is responsible for the site itself, or so I thought, not making Halo 3 in and of itself. I wonder if this means they are trying to get stuff together to show stats from the games for the Beta. I have yet to see anyone make a thread about this though I havn't done much digging in the Halo 3 forum.

If that's what they've been working on then it will be well worth the wait for groups. I miss 'em too. I realize that there is probably also a lot of work involved just getting the site prepped for the game's actual launch.

navilord: No. My group was inactive and sucked. Well, for a while then, but now summer is rolling around people should be active again. I mean these people have jobs and time is scarce to kill. Anyway how would it take 2 months to put groups back up? I really hope they'll be back, there're too many flamers and overall people who aren't really nice in the real Bungie.net forums, with little to do about them (read the first page, see what I mean). I prefer our own groups than the Bungie.net ones. But that's just my opinion.

Anyway's... Talked too much. Thanks for taking the time to wish my group a 1 year anniversary.

* Halo 1= Skill * Halo 2= Some skill after the update * Halo 3= Lets hope it doesn't need a fix for Non-NOOBS…

1,095 days of creation...
730 days of anticipation...
300 days of preorder....
5,000,000 copies sold...
250,000,000 plus dollars made...
ONE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT… this is Halo 2 ...

Our group has been active since 2002. We are like group number 13 ever created at bungie. We used the group to plan our weekly lans which we've been doing for 5 years (hundreds of lans in the bay area at our place on Friday nights). Since the groups have gone down we haven't had any lans these last 2 months.

Nice. My group officially has 23 active members, but the Halo 3 craze is all around us and the groups are back so it's all good. I'm glad the groups are finally back. What a coincidence... The groups come back 1-2 days after I posted this! How strange.

Anyway i'd like some active members in my group... We sure need 'em...

Oh! One last thing, groups should have an option to message all members and delete all "dead" threads. It'd make things MUCH easier when sending personal messages to players who don't visit the homepage often. The delete dead threads option would be nice, because with the 2 months gap the dead threads have most likely reached the 1st-2nd page by now. Anyway this is great!

!

So all this fuss and ranting was about a group with 23 members?

Well consider the other groups, like Marty's Army and such, that went without activity for 2 months.

Don't degrade my group like that... We had 23 ACTIVE members, groups only hae 120-150 that didn't do anything. Big difference.

Damn straight. My first chapter - the Mongul Knights of Afar founded by Sir Jivealot - has been going strong since 2002 with our membership hovering at the 8 to 10 mark. We're also the oldest UK chapter still in operation if memory serves. If we can go with ~9 members for five years and other chapters die within months with triple digit memberships... I think that says a lot about how quality is better than quantity.

So active they all ignored your invites to your groups off site forum? I wasn't degrading your comments, I was putting them into perspective. There are many more groups on B.net with more members and high activity, and none of them complained.

I couldn't remember or access any of my members' names so how could I get a hold of them?

Either those other groups just didn't care or didn't want to bother. I did both, but anyone else could've made this thread, and according to some posts I think I must be right that in peoples' minds they did want the groups back, they just didn't bother to make a post about it.
