I'm trying to prepare a bit for the H2V launch and getting some info on map-making from a maya perspective.
Has anyone made models from maya and exported them to the Halo 1 game? Were there any problems?
What, and what did not, exported well as far as geometry, UV coordinates, normals, transparency maps, UV texture snapshots? What about lights?
I know H2V editors and old editors are the same, but just error-free. Is there any one person that's experienced who I could pick their brains with questions? Hopefully if you reply to this I can email you directly through your profile page.
