more like:
[url=LINKHERE} TEXTHERE[/url]

Replace the } with a ]

And yes, by all means go ahead and buy that card. It will amaze you. And is really far more than you need for a game like H2V.

Newegg doesn't ship to Canada

They don't? Umm... Try this then...

"Lag would be that frames are already there and it takes a second to display to the monitor, where as low framerate is the frames need to be rendered first." - And what, my friend would take the moniter "a second" to display an already received signal?

That was an example and an exaggeration at that, you know this so stop being hard. Want an example? Say a mile long cable, since electrical signals have a finite speed it would take time for the signal from the Video card to reach the display.

The GPU renders the images, converts the digital image into an analog format, and then sends this signal to the moniter, which displays the images (for all practical purposes) in realtime.

Have you heard of DVI? It's all digital so no need for analog. But yes the conversion to analog if you were using an analog display would cost time, but it wouldn't affect the framerate, this might be considered lag.

Last I checked, Low framerates and lag are one and the same (unless you are referring to connection-based lag). It is absurd to think otherwise. Because in such a case, a remedy to lag would be to replace your moniter.

How dense are you that you cannot seperate the two. As you put a remedy to lag would be to replace your monitor, and using your information as you so eloquently put that would in fact raise your framerate while this is simply not true.

This is all semantics anyways and as lag is commonly refered to as it takes longer to get somewhere than you want it to. Where as low framerate is where the videocard renders the game at a certain speed, common terms dictate that each frame gets to where you want it to at the same speed regardless of how fast the game is rendered.

This is a completely different point then I wans trying to make, and your examples are just a tad impractical.

i have a 6200 also

it sucks balls

Well I don't know how the hell you're treating yours, but mine's working as great as possible. Maybe your inability to be satisfied with what you have sucks balls.

I have to agree with him. I can run most games at 1024 by 768 at medium to high with it. Some of the more modern ones are starting to make me put it on low however if I lower my resolution I can run them at higher levels again. So my 6200 does fine.

Sorry, then what do you consider research as far as video cards go? Listening to 12 year olds rant about their friend's cousin's experiences with a card that they never owned?

C'mon man, think. When have specs ever dictated the end performance. It sounds to me as if you were still stuck in the megahertz myth days. Do you find yourself thinking that a pentium D at 3.7GHz is faster than an Athlon X2 at 2.4 GHz (these are all arbitrary numbers)? You should know that specs don't tell the whole truth and never will. Go to sites such as hardocp.com and anandtech.com and look at real benchmarks with real games, you should ignore benchmarks such as 3dmark as they do not necessarily reflect how real games run.

Now you are going against human nature here, if everyone was forced to be satisified with what they have we would still be cavemen wondering around the world gathering food and not knowing that fire exists. I mean who cares gathering berries and dead animals seems fine to me, striving to be better be damned.

No, I would take a 1.8 GHz Core Solo over a 3.8 Ghz Pentium 4 any day. But the numbers here aren't clock speeds. These are actual figures. Operations a second? Pixels a second? Texels a sec? Vertices? 3DMark Scores? I personally cannot think of a better way to rate a video card. Even if by personal experience.
