I get the message you're trying to get across, but I still couldn't help but mourn for the english language while I read it.

And where the intelligent go to hunt.

I'd say mostly the Halo 3 and New Mombassa forums are where IQ points go to die. That, and any sort of balance or modesty. This forum, with the exception of the (now) nearly constant "can my pc run H2V?!?!?!? threads, seems pretty intelligent most of the time.

Bah, That depends on what you mean by "Intelligent." If there is one thing I see its that for every questions asked their is at least one prick who thinks that everyone ought to know everything. I understand constant threads regarding the same topic but for sure one thing that does go on is that the other forums aren't the only ones who can be and are arrogant.

We certiantly do our fair share. However, for the most part overall this particular community does have merit.

I especially like the monitor...

"Monitor: Dell 72" LCD-HDTV-PCP"

Although "Quaternary Hard Drive: God's personal backup drive (just in case of armageddon)" does make it sound like he uses a pc. I always thought God a more Xbox fan :p

72 " Screen ? Omg I couldn't see that with 100x glasses , damn , you need to buy at least 400" screen , then it would somehow run H2V , still you need to upgrade most of the things.

Lol nice thread and all who can't get this is sarcasm are -blam!- smart :)

I think you're a little confused(or high). 15", 17", and 19" screens are what most people have. Even if he's talking TV's that's pretty big.

Do they even make a 400" screen?

As for the thread itself, while I understood the satirical nature of it, and found it mildly amusing. I don't think it was really necessary due to the fact that, even though it was in jest, it's still another "Can I Run H2V" thread. Maybe I missed the punchline somewhere, but joking about the issue, while doing nothing to help solve it, just isn't that humorous.

For all those legitimately wishing to know if thier computers can run Vista or Halo 2 Vista, please refer to this thread: The Official Halo 2 Vista "Will It Run?" Thread

I don't believe I've ever heard that term before. Perhaps our great grand children will see the day where they will consider 600 petabyte hard drives at the cost of one hundred dollars to be over priced.

Its numerical, but I believe that 1 petabyte= 1024 Terrabytes. (Correct me if I am wrong)

FireHentz was playing in with the joke, Obi Wan, just like the others who say 400TB isn't enough.

This isn't joking. It's called satire. It's taking something that's very serious and just making it blatantly obvious that you are showing how idiotic the issue is in hopes of others who do this idiotic act realize they shouldn't. A great satirical novel is Brave New World or Slaughterhouse Five. Both deal with real-world issues but show in the long wrong what's so stupid about what's going on in the books.

For another example, take The Producers. They planned on scoring cash on a flop musical that nobody would like. Well, what better way to do such a thing then to bring Hitler into the equation? Except in the end of it the person who was playing Hitler was flamboyant, thus the audience believes that the musical is a satire against Hitler, thus making it funny and having a point at the same time. Of course, that's not what the producers were aiming for... ; )

Hmm. Yottabyte. Fascinating, I've heard of it, but I didn't bother researching it.

I think I may have read Brave New World a while ago. Though I can't recall any specific details about the book.

But hey, whatever, I didn't find it very funny, oh well.
