I knew there was a Halo 2 headset that came on the Xbox by Plantronics, but I never realized that they made one for the PC. That looks shweet. Oh, and it isn't just for voice output and input, like the Xbox version's is.

I think I might buy this.

That's my exact headset only that it doesn't have green plating.

It is people like you that make people like me need medication.

Very interesting. If I didn't already have my Xbox 360 and needed a headset for my 360 controller on the PC I would probably buy it.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

That looks interesting to say the least, but does it have a warranty?

I don't see how it's different from any other headset, other than it's green.

Yes, it says "Full one-year warranty" after a bullet under Features.

Looking at that page made me notice that EB/GS changed the release date of Halo 2 PC for May 22nd...

http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=646888

Nothing confirmed but just thought it was interesting that they made the change.

Crap I am weak. I bought it. LOL

It just looks good with my Xbox Halo 2 headset that was given to me back in the days. Also helps that I needed some good headphones for the PC. So I don't feel so bad. LOL

You get that too? After an hour or so my ears start to hurt. I just pop one side off for like five seconds, do the same to the other side, and I'm good to go again.

The few, the proud, the leet.

Plantronics always has a quality mic in their headsets. If Vista wasn't such a -blam!- with my mic input, I'd consider getting it.. There's also that time before the cushioning is broken in where it hurts after a while.

edit: Oh, and some places will get it to sell a good bit after the 8th. It just depends on how and when they get it shipped to them.

Indeed. Headsets are the ultimate sound desensitizers.

They sure as hell make the playing experience twice as fun. Try playing F.E.A.R. in the dark with headsets. You'll swear that you'll see things darting out of the corner of your eye.

With surround sound quality, you'll be hearing creatures lurking behind you which fully immerses you in the experience.

Meh, I prefer my headphones and 3D surround sound. I don't need an over-priced sound setup to achieve surround sound.

Yeah, there are few games that can have that mental, and physical effect on me, but F.E.A.R. does it very well, I remember playing in the level where you have to go through the ventilation shaft with the gas shooting up, oh that was a scare. Walked through the shaft and there's Alma crawling like she thinks she is spider man at me at MachV.
