Subject: Halo 2 Headset... for PC?

It is people like you that make people like me need medication.

Well I'll have mine today some time so after I get it, I'll let you guys know how it works.

I'll test it out on the Live for Windows interface and play around with it via Xfire and some friends. Might watch a couple videos, etc. I'll be sure to put it through the paces.

It is people like you that make people like me need medication.

So I got it. Have been putting it through it's paces.

The volume is amazing. The audio quality is great too. When it comes to the microphone it's noise canceling may be too good. You have to push the mic over right next to your mouth before it will pick up your voice. That or talk out of the side of you mouth. The quality of it's output is damn good though. The problem is just getting it to pick up the fact that you are talking. Luckly I don't talk a lot so it shouldn't bother me.

So honestly I recommend it if you are just going to use the headphones and if you aren't a big talker. If you are a big talker I would recommend using a separate mic. I feel it is worth the money spent though just on the quality of the headphones.

You can change the mic settings either in your Windows Audio Options panel, or your Sound Cards Option panel. You should be able to change how loud you have to talk before it registers. Too loud and you have to scream before the mic picks it up. Too quiet and people can hear you breathe, which can be rather irritating after a while.

haha i have that same headset as well, the sounds quality is great although i think its can be a little to snug on the ears somedays.

You get that too? After an hour or so my ears start to hurt. I just pop one side off for like five seconds, do the same to the other side, and I'm good to go again.

And I'm twelve...
Sound quality is exquisite. Great for music and games, nice bass and treble.
