I just realize if the screen is split screen in co-op or multiplayer, the graphics are toned down a lot. For example, there are NO character or vehicular shadows, and the texture pop ups are more occuring in addition to being more blurry. I recall in Halo 1 the graphics remain the same in multiplayer split screen, except the fact that anti-ailiasing has been turned off to maintain the framerate. Would there be a future update for the game to sacrifice anti-aliasing for better graphics? I mean even in Halo PC no one notice anti-aliasing being forcebly turned off.

I'm not sure, but I don't think there was any anti-aliasing in Halo 1, ever.

i believe there was, if you compare it to ps2 games like metal gear solid 2, which sort of pushed the ps2 to its limits, you can see the aliasing kicking in, every outline on a 3d object wsa fuzzy
