I meant that - well, you said that Bungie 'owed' the maps the community. If anything, really, it's the other way round, because of the way that Bungie has stayed on developing for Halo 2, even right up to the release of the Halo 3 beta ( and possibly further ). I think we owe them something for that.
I think we gave them plenty. We've undoubtedly helped them in their plans for "world domination". Halo and Halo 2 sold millions of copies, and were the kind of games the Xbox needed to survive. Just look at the Halo community, it's spawned into a way of life. LAN Parties, map making in Custom Edition, modding (off of LIVE of course), fooling around. This forum is like a cattle ranch. New threads and posts are popping up like crazy. Bungie has become so popular because of, not just the Halo franchise, but of their consumers continuing to support them. We're helping to keep that game alive as well you know. It would be a nice gesture to give their consumers a little something as reimbursement. Unfortunately, big companies would rather have your money than think like that.

I don't think it does - because this map pack isn't like any of the ones before, as in it's on two consoles. I don't think you can compare it to the previous map packs, because it's been done differently, which is where the problems are coming from, not the payment system, as far as I can tell.
Nevertheless, this seems like the only plausible solution at this time. How long will we wait until this problem is sorted out in the manner they want it to be? At this rate, the first Halo 3 map packs will be on the Marketplace before they get this one working properly.
