Making a poll for this was midly retarded, I don't think you can run them at max but you should get a good image and a decent FPS.

I don't care what the thread is about as long as it is logical.

Yes your CPU will run Halo 2 Vista on Norm-Medium quality but i don't think it will run on High to well.

I recommend you get this or better:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

Processor: Intel Core 2 duo Ex (2 Cores)

Video Card: ATI x1950 pro

Ram: 2-5 GB

Hard Drive: 500gb +

Power supply for the vid cards: 500w +

Well you don't need 5 gigs of ram but it would eliminate every possibility of performance-lag and crashes and is just good to have anyways.
And i got 6 slots for Ram cards so thats how i can have 6.5 gigs.

And bummer on the laptop, this is the reason why i don't buy them:

You cant upgrade easily.

Nobody knows what 'max' is yet, and that depends on resolution too.

However, I'd say no. You won't be able to run the game on max.

Umm.... if the minimum is:

Hard Drive: 7 GB
Video Card: DX9 graphics card: WDDM driver, PS 2.0/32BPP, At least nVidia 6000 or ATI x700 or above
Online Multi-player: Internet connection for Games for Windows – LIVE
Drive: DVD-ROM drive

Then this would surely run it on High:

I recommend:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium or Higher

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo EX ( 2 Cores)

Video Card: ATI x1950 Pro or Better

RAM: 2-5 GB, 2 for ok and 4-5 for asome.

Hard Drive: 500GB +

Power Supply For Video Cards: 500w +

ahh i see well ddr2 style ram can carry 2gb per stick where ddr couldn't at correct speeds but you have 4 slots im guessing via 3x2gb sticks + 512mb stick in other slot = 6.5gb of ram

this doesnt prove your theory of 6 ram slots wrong just ive never heard of such a thing

u know when it says AMD athlon 2500+ that means it is power rated at 2500Mhz of processing power, it is actually around 1.6Ghz of processing, kinda like mine is power rated at 4.22Ghz (4220Mhz) or AMD Athlon 4200+. Oh, and about the laptop, i got it because i dont have room for a 2nd Desktop and my dad wont replace our existing desktop.

by power rated you of course mean equivalent to an intel (single core) running at 2500+ but you if itss a 4200+ duel core and im not sure if it is or not but if h2v only uses one core like most games do then it will only take the performance of that one core. being that h2v uses one core while vista manages background tasks with the other while a great performance boost via the extra core. h2v will remain to use that one core. that is of coarse on my assumption that h2v is only single-core compatible.

well i run BF2 maxed, and ive run it in a window so i can watch the cores, all my of games run on both cores, thats what vista is designed to do, make games run on both cores.

well i run bf2 maxxed as well on a single core mind you. but i do hope it uses both cores for both our sakes. (im going to upgrade to am2 socket). but still in any case i dont think your proc will hold you back to much. but im not to sure about my 7600GT or your 7600.
