I would not say worst game in history, but it has gotten boring for me. I got to a 38 in slayer and a 33 in hardcore, it was pretty fun before. Maybe you just do not win enough. If you lose too much in a game then you will most likely hate it. YOu sure that is not your problem?

First off. If they can fix the glitches why don't they. Second, I bought the product and I have every right to voice my complaints. Third, they heavily advertised this game for its "awesome online play". It's not my problem how the game works via the internet and the tech specs. If you can't do it right, don't make it at all. If nobody says anything they won't fix it. I stand firm on the idea of placing all the moves in the game manual otherwise it's cheating. Maybe i wouldn't be losing over 85% of my games because I don't use combos and superjumps that are not listed anywhere. Or I suck. Last why do I play it? BEcause I've already paid for it. Bungie can refund my $54 dollars for xbox live and I'd be happy. Otherwise fix the problems.

Most glitches cannot be fixed because they are part of the game engine, if they were modified or removed, it will cause even more unnecessary problems. Your statistic is exaggerated, there are not that many combo'ers out there, eve if there are, you can still beat them, you just suck, really.

You're another person who blames it all on Bungie, Bungie doesn't run Xbox Live and Halo 2 is NOT the only Xbox Live enabled game out there.

You didn't even answer my question.

If you lose over 85% of your games that means you suck. =P And Xbox Live is sold be Microsoft and they are many many many other games you can play on Xbox Live

If you think complaining to Bungie about what you want will make it happen, then Bungie, I want two large breasted exotic single females to massage my body while I play XBL, all the while feeding me grapes and fanning me with palm fronds. I paid for this service and I demand satisfaction!

I answered your question HaloFighter92: I play it because I already paid for it. Bungie can refund my $50 for my game then the $54 I purchased Xbox live for because I specifically purchased Xbox Live for playing this game online. Again , I did not create the game, as the consumer I'm not responsible for fixing the game. The game didn';t contain any disclaimers about its performance visible on the packaging. I reiterate, if you can't do it right, don't bother. Bad companies profit off of things they know might have potential problems. Good companies don't allow the product to be sold in the first place.

Wow. I just checked your stats. No wonder you hate Halo 2. You played over 1000 games in snipers and you are a 22. Wow you suck at life. I have played this game sence the day it has came out. I am a 30 in slayer and guess what. I don't use BXR or super bounces. The only thing I can think of is that you are just plain bad and you can't deal with it so you blame the game and bungie. "Oh I cant win" "I can't snipe" "it must be the games fault not mine" yeah that makes a hole hell of a lot of sence.

sorry for that rant but to say bungie is bad and Halo 2 sucks pisses me off. How many games out there are still being played as much as Halo 2 this long after launch. Non that I can think of. Bungie didn't have to make the ban hamer or the new maps but they did. Sure they charged for them but it ws only $4. So if you don't like the game stop playing it and finde some were ells to cry.

Today a young man on acid realized that we are merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are one conciousness experiencing its self subjectively. Life is but a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves.

Apparently you are not old enough to have played E.T. now that was the worst game in history.

I actually beat that game on my Atari when I was just a rugrat.
I did feel an amazing sense of accomplishment though.

thats all opinionated, you are entitled to your opinion, however many will disagree with it. answer this, what is the point of this thread? are u complaining because you might actually change something to ur liking? think about it

btw i like ur stats, ur almost as bad as another kid i know thats played over 4000 RP games and is only a lvl 11.

hmm I lose alot but then you know, I practice. I don't freaken know how to do BXR or whatever other related ideas but yet it's not like I never beat someone who knew how to. Of course you're free to your own opinion after purchasing the product but hey, you decided to post it in a forum where many avid halo gamers come. Of course, fans of the game would come here....I don't see what other reasons. You must be interested in the game enough to come here or else there is just no point to justify why you come here to bash the game. Your reasons have to be more logical than you can't win due to various reasons. The online for me is awesome. And why wouldn't tech specs matter? It's like trying to play xbox live on dial up, it is your problem to resolve the issue. And all those moves in the manual?? Hell, fighting games have combos that are never listed, wrestling characters have moves that are never listed, even Gran Turismo has driving button moves that aren't listed.

this is an interactive role playing shooter....move, aim, shoot and kill. You can kill someone who superjumps, bxr's, or hides in one spot for the whole game. It's strategy.

Just thought I'd say something since this is one of my most favorite games. This is my opinion.

I hate eating fish...but I don't go to a sushi house and tell everyone it's the most disgusting food ever. Because obviously, the people there like fish and what the hell am I wasting my time in a sushi house just to say I hate fish?

yeea...sorry for the dumb parable, I'm asian.

I agree people have the right to disagree with me, of course. My goal is get Bungie's attention that people are upset with the product they produced. Personally I will not buy Halo 3 when its released until I'm satisfied they corrected these issues.

And flamers don't decide to make up their facts on their spot in other games. Tsk tsk our forum trolls instead insult qualities that don't even exist.

For example: EA only hosts computer games. COD 2 is hosted on XBL, which means that each Xbox is an invidivually hosting the game. Get with XBL.

I'm sorry, but glitches are in all games. They are worse in most games.

I'm sorry, but Gears lags too. If thats even what you mean.

I have played this game sence it came out. It is a great game. If you don't like it that is fine go play something ells. I am a level 30 and don't use super bounces or BXR so that isn't a reasone to blame you 22 in snipers on.

i c, thats a goal that will work if u have the majority of the halo population agreeing with you. the "people" you refer to (im not gonna make up statistics), in my opinion is not the majority. i assume that more people here enjoy the game as it is, than people who have complaints about it. if you disagree, i will gladly make a poll and use facts rather than opinion. the issues you have brought up, sure they are issues that may be annoying, however, they are issues that cannot be fixed. these glitches are not networking glitches, but glitches with the game. if bungie tampers with the games coding in an attempt to fix a glitch that does not cause that much issues, then more problems will arise, and chaos will probably occur. its better to leave the coding as it is. i personally prefer playing halo2 with minor button glitches, than playing halo2 with more problems that may ruin the game. thats fine you wont be buying halo3, but you will be missing out on an awesome gaming experience.

To Prodigy: Most fighting games in the manuals clearly state a combination of buttons will produce better results. Halo 2 does not. Nor does it state anywhere about Superbouncing.

If I worked for bungie I would ask for a bodyguard. The gameplay online is so erratic the word CONSISTANCY must be removed from all the dictionaries at their HQ. First they dont' have a server. Are we supposed to believe they can't afford it? EA and others have their own. Second is the cheating. Lets make a clear rule Bungie when you make Halo 3: IF IT IS NOT LISTED IN THE GAME MANUAL AS A MOVE IT'S CHEATING. period. No more surprises. No more glitches. Gears of War doesn't sporadically decide 1-3 shots with a sniper rifle kills an opponent. Madden 2007 doesn't allow hackers to Have 5th down and 10.

1st things 1st, xbox live can be random due to shoddy xbox live code provided by bungie, but there's still alot for skilled off host players to do. Secondly you have to know the difference between glitches in code and glitches in networking. BXB is a melee cancel melee which is completely a code glitch that Bungie know about and haven't fixed, and considering all competitive gamers know and use this then the balance is fine.

Dedicated servers can't be used because of the sheer mass of servers that would be needed to host easy load 400k+ 700k+ games would be insaine and wasful.
But I think that if you don't have an open NAT on your router then you shouldn't be forced host like now, also halo 2 does a very poor job at picking the best connection and this is why alot of people turned to bridging host, some to cheat but many bridged host just to give host to a good host.

Halo 2 isn't perfect on xbox live bungie have patched the game to some degree to make the game run well in matchmaking.

This is probably the last time I'll still up for bungie and I only did it because the original thread creator is speaking completely out of turn and has no idea of the concepts he complains about.

You talk so much sense! Hopefully the network coding will be more advanced in halo 3 and things will be better. Also matchmaking shoud start choosing host on who has the best upload speed, it should not choose depending on which ips can connect to each other and which cant. If someone cant connect to the person with the best connection in the game then they should be taken back to the lobby, and that would teach them to lower their firewalls/forward ports!

First off not everyone who plays games know how to lower their firewall...although they are retarded, some just cant so thats not fair.

And to sigmapi103 when you don't buy H3...you'll be missing out and then be the one looking for a copy of the game and can't find it.
