How old is an average Halo 2 player in your opinion?

When are you too young or old for playing Halo 2?

You're too young if you don't remember the Four Food Groups. Ha, the government doesn't know how to keep it's citizens healthy.

It would be great if there was a way to limit this game to the age group that it was meant for. By that I mean stricter regulations on the ESRB rating. This game is rated Mature and meant for people 17+. The fact that their are so many kids playing this game just shows how many bad parents their are in America. If i had a kid and found him yelling obscenities into a mic I would be sure to whip his ass and make sure he didn't do it again. Parents these days just don't give a damn and let their kids do whatever they want.

Edit: AzPaTriX, your write up on How to solve all problems through arguments by programing was great but the lack of response to it clearly shows how immature the community is as a whole. People will spend all day arguing why clan matches should come back but won't take a few minutes to read about ideas to fix some of the major problems in Halo 2

Hey you know it's not about being too young or old, it's just about how mature you are to play on Xbox Live. I'm 19 and let me tell you there are quite a number of younger kids who are not loud mouths and annoying buggers. Yet again there are quite a few of the noisy annoying ones too. lol!

EXACTLY and that is why America is going to crap! When I was a kid i got my ass beat and I learned my lesson. Seriously my friends gf has a 3yr old and he is already a horrible kid because his only form of discipline is "don't do that its not very nice" and then the kid continues to do whatever he was doing and sometimes even more since he know knows he is getting attention for doing it.

You say that now tough guy, but when you have kids of your own, im not so sure it would be easy for you to whoop their asses for saying obscenities.

My parents did it to me and the reason why is because they cared about me and didn't want me to grow up to be a horrible person. Has nothing to do with being a tough guy... has everything with being a good parent. Ever heard the expression "This is going to hurt me more than its going to hurt you." A good parent disciplines their children out of love (even though its hard to see your child in pain) a crappy parent allows their kid to grow up as a horrible person that treats everyone like crap just because they are afraid to discipline.

I'm 39... and I hate people who talk trash... often times it is very young kids... but I'd say just as often it's teenagers and young 20's. Just guessing by their voices. I just ignore it though. I'll be glad in halo 3 when they make it easier to mute people during the game.

and about parenting... A good parent doesn' t resort to hitting their children to discipline them. Children that are properly cared for and loved will feel as though their being disciplined by a look of dissapointment. You'll see when you have kids.

That's the worst pick-up line I've ever seen! Internet preditor!

Excuse me, but this is a video game. It's not real life. It's just for fun! Don't take it so seriously. I mean who do you expect to be playing a video game?

What's worse? A 10 year old talking trash... or the 39 year old who can't take it from a 10 year old?

Corbob, since when is your diet the responsibility of the government? Stop blaming the government for all your problems. Take responsibility for yourself.

You think just because parents let there kids have a game that the "government" says should be for 17+ means they are bad parents. I think your full of crap.
Parents have the right to by those game and have the right to let there kids play them, just because a company says its for 17+ doesnt mean it should be that way.

That is like saying to a 12 year old kid that you wont let him go to a pg 13 movie because it says 13 or older. When we all know you would let you kid go and see that movie.

I've got three daughters (15,20,22), I'm 41 years old, and I've NEVER allowed my girls to see a movie that was rated above their age. Nor do/did I allow them to play games rated above their age. Maybe it's just me, but I don' think companies/governments have strict enough standards. My girls get TONS of freedoms, but they have certain guidelines to follow. It's a shame parents don't feel more responsibility in raising their kids. It's always the teacher's fault, or the governments, or the "Man's", etc...

Just my two cents.

PS: Halo is the one place I let my guard down, so if you happen to hear me slip in a swear word during a game, I'm gonna have to snipe you so you don't tell my kids.
