Call me Wolfie | My anti-drug
New Flood for life <3
We’re looking back laughing because they called us crazy, but we took that chance on that feeling, living for the moment, we were spinning in. Maybe we were a lot of things, but we weren't crazy.
I know this doesn't have much to do with the game play itself, but it does have to do with the Halo 2 updates. Please hear me out before flaming and whatnot.
My 360 broke about a month ago, I got the thing that all Xbox 360 owners fear besides the words "Halo 3" and "canceled" being in the same sentence, the ring of death. So I called up Microsoft, they told me to send it back to them, and they would repair it for 140 dollars because my warrenty had been long over with.
So within a week I get a box, send out my 360, and it comes back 2 weeks later in this damaged box. I opened it up and the frame and face plate were cracked, the controller port door was snapped off, and it didn't work. So I called them up (kinda was mad at this point) and they told me to send it back and they would give me a new one for free. I sent it back and waited for another week for it to return. Along the way my power supply broke when my brother's friend tried to hook up his 360 to play Guitar Hero II (so I got a new power supply as well). My 360 finally comes back with a brand new wireless controller and all in one piece! Everything worked fine.
I just tried to play Halo 2 for the first time in the month that my 360 has been away. So I turned on my 360, didn't sign in, put in Halo 2, and it asked for an update. So I said yes, it did the update without problems, then went away and looked like it was going to restart. But then another message came up asking for another one and it did the same thing...about 8-10 times.
So after playing this little game for 10 minutes I said no to the continuous updates and continued loading Halo 2. The screen came up and I couldn't sign in, so I restarted my 360, signed in, then put in Halo 2. I was allowed to sign in, but I had to do another update so I did. It worked and I was on my way to finally playing again. Then I realized that new maps had come out so I went and downloaded them. When signing back in afterward, a message in Halo 2 comes up telling me that the download was damaged.
I tried downloading them again and the same thing happened. I can no longer go into any matchmaking games and I can't see my ranks. Its really ticking me off.
And yes, I have seen the Bungie update about the new maps and such and having to switch accounts. But I have Xbox Live Gold and my credit card number is already registered in my 360. I bought the maps and downloaded them from the 360.
Any help?
