Well, it would seem there are some clear points of contention with everyone. From reading up to now, its clear that many people are still experiencing considerable difficulty with downloading the maps. I agree with the majority of you in your frustration with Bungie on this issue. It is not the four dollars that is the problem, its the principle. First, paying for maps for a 3 year old game, maps that are remakes of a 5 year old game, is ridiculous. Second, when you put out an announcement to thousands of people, assuring them that things will happen as you say, and then they don't at all, your gonna get people upset. If people experienced so many problems downloading these maps, then that problem should be resolved, but why postpone the MM updates? From where I see it, the new maps integration into MM coupled with the work that has been done to help those who could not download the maps at all would have recieved a much warmer reception than making those who successfully downloaded them (as far as I have read, the majority) wait along with those who did not. If its XBLs fault that this whole thing isnt going smoothly, then fine, but don't tell us progress is being made when it isn't. If you're going to report something, for god sakes give us some accuracy and be specific. I feel like im in 1984 with these updates recently (Shoe production has doubled! 100 million shoes made! ). Lastly, to those who are now crying for superjumps to be removed or rendered useless in other maps, consider this. The release, fix, and release of just these two maps has had Bungie and XBL pretty much pwned for the past 3 weeks. Imagine the absolute chaos that would come with the fix and re-release of every map? Sure, we would pry get an update saying that we would be gaming by june, but given this utter fiasco with this map release, Halo 4 and the superjump-fixed matchmaking would launch concurrently -_-.
